Does TheTab work offline?

I work on a train a lot, with no connection for long stretches. Does TheTab still save and restore tabs while I am offline, or does it need to reach the internet first?

TheTab preserves the original OneTab experience.

We built TheTab because OneTab changed their core functionality. TheTab gives you back the simple, one-click tab saving that made OneTab great in the first place.
